The new Cairns Botanical Gardens Restaurant website has just been launched and we're proud as punch to show it off.
The brief, by owner Kimara Timms, was to create something modern and bold that captured and highlighted the fresh and home-cooked meals, desserts and drinks available at the amazing Botanical Gardens.
Along for the ride was photographer Colyn Huber of Lovegreen Photography Cairns who masterfully captured photographs of the food one early morning at the cafe... and yes, we did dig in after shooting each dish! :)
The site was designed from the ground up and integrated with our custom Content Management System (CMS) providing the ability for Kim and her staff to log in and update all aspects of the site. Online bookings requests can be captured via an easy to use form and are then emailed to the cafe and also stored in the websites' database as a backup. Other features include a live Instagram feed (as pics are added to their Instagram feed, they automatically show on the website) and modern mobile-friendly HTML.
If you haven't experienced the Botanical Gardens Cafe yet, do yourself a favour and get down there and try their signature waffles, one of their scrumptious pies (my personal favourite) or any of their many other tasty dishes.
