The Events Calendar component keeps your customers and web users up to date on what is happening within your organisation.What are Events?
An event is something that is happening within your organisation.
For example, if you are a business that has regular seminars, or training sessions, you can record these events within the Mindwire Content Manager. An event is anything that occurs on a particular date (or between two dates), so it does not have to be seminars or training sessions; it can be holiday periods, the company's birthday, or corporate sporting events. It's up to you to decide what events you'd like to publish on your Events Calendar.

Event details
You can specify the Event start date, end date, event title and an event description together with images, document links, and even audio & video.
Displaying the event
Once you've saved your Event, the event will appear on the Event Calendar within your site. Visitors to your site can view the event calendar and navigate through the calendar by clicking on the "Previous Month" or "Next Month" links.
They can also click on an Event shown within the calendar to drill down and display more detailed information about that particular event.
This is where they then see the full event description, images, document links, audio, video, etc that you added when creating the event.
Visitors can also click on a Day to see, in more detail, the events on a particular day.
